​CONTAINERS & GROW MEDIUMS

Containers and growing mediums are very important for growing high quality Medicinal Cannabis, often they are dismissed until the last moment but they should be included in the early decisions of the design, depending on each Medicinal Cannabis facility, cultivation systems, humidity in Portugal, genetics, cultivation method and so many more factors.

Each growing medium has its pros and cons, if chosen correctly it can help and if chosen poorly it can become a source of problems, in the Medicinal Cannabis field there is very little space if any at all for problems.

​

Containers have as much importance to growing mediums, choosing bigger containers than you really need will cause in space loss, choosing smaller containers than you need will cause in unhappy Cannabis plants which results in smaller yields.

Some facilities should even custom design their growing containers, all depends on your growing method, how many cycles per year, how many plants per cycle etc...
